Snow Days

With the darkness of winter slowly creeping up on us, we thought it would be best to go in about the days coming up that can be beneficial to everyone to brighten things up a bit, get it goin’. While some pansy individuals fear snow, the magical dust which falls from above brings holly jolly fun to the majority of us New Englanders. The activities snow allows are endless, and they just feel ‘right’ in the depths of winter when you’ll pretty much do anything to forget about what’s actually going on around you. Skiing, sledding, snow forts, snowball fights, candy canes, snow cones and on and on; the possibilities are endless. However, there’s one delight that tops the list without a doubt, bringing joy to all and to all a good night: snow days (hulhey). Finding your school on the list of ‘closed institutions’ when surfing around the internet or crushing weather channel is a feeling that calls for one to whip out their freshest new dab (See Cam Newton demonstrate below). It’s something that can’t be beat and allows for a day of melting if you please, sipping hot coco on the couch, or enjoying classic flicks like Home Alone, The Grinch, Polar Express, and some Chuck Brown eppys just to name a few. Some choose to seize these snow days and hop into the world and fluff around in the white beauty. Some choose to take advantage of the magical spirit in the air and hangout with a warm woman. Whatever you choose to do, make sure you take a second to realize how blessed we are to live an an area with snow. Snowdays are unreal.
